Vom Nec PC-FX Emulator MagicEngineFX gibt es folgende WIP News zum neuen Release welches es bald geben wird.
Some news from MagicEngine-FX beta testing...
Things are going very well, a lot of tiny bugs have been fixed as well as some big ones. As a result emulation quality has improved and there are about 12 more games that are playable : all the Angelique series, Can Can Bunny Extra DX, Super Real Mahjong P.IV, Team Innocent, and... Battle Heat! :D
Beta testing is almost over, we expect two more weeks of work and we will be ready to prepare the release, just in time for Christmas. :)
Der erste NEC PC-FX emulator wurde released. Bisher wird lediglich Minimun Nanonic emuliert. Hier was der Autor zu dieser Version schreibt:
The tech demo supports only this game. You can try other games if you want; there's no protection, but they simply won't work, this demo has a limited PC-FX hardware emulation, unsupported games won't run, but on the other hand it is not limited in any way, no time limit. :)
MagicEngineFX doesn't require the ROM of the PC-FX bios to run, it has its own system. We were not able to finish it in time for the tech demo release though. In its current state the system doesn't support the backup RAM, so for now you can save only with the save function of MagicEngineFX, you can not save in-game yet.
You can install MagicEngineFX in the same folder as MagicEngine, they can share the same config files.
